This is simple yet very effective zone offense play that is one of my favorites. As 1 dribbles over, 2 overloads the floor making this play difficult to guard every option. After 5 screens in, he should try to post up hard on X5. See More

A well designed SLOB play run by French National Team Coach Vincent Collet designed to get an isolation in the paint, off a side ball screen. Here France used the low post flash to attack the basket off the ball screen and although this situation was not successful, the play itself brings a multitude of opportunities to score off a dead ball situation. With 3.9 seconds left in Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs ran this play at the end of the 2nd overtime to defeat the Golden State Warriors. X1 was able to trail the screens and stay attached to Parker. Unfortunately X5 was unaware and doubled Parker. Forcing X2 to drop and protect the rim, leaving the skip to Ginobili wide open for a 3-pointer. See More

The Miami Heat ran this quick hitter last season during the Playoffs to get Chris Bosh a shot off a misdirection. As Wade took one dribble past the pick from Lebron, he quickly turned and fired to Bosh who slipped in behind Haslem. See More

This is a baseline out of bounds play Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals ran during the 2013 Final Four and National Champsionship games. Most teams would stop once the ball was inbounded to 1, not the Cards. 3 quickly stepped into to free up Dieng for a post-up. To see EVERY play Louisville ran in the 2012 and 2013 Final Four you can do so in my eBook Championship Execution! See More

This is another action I watched last night while watching the 1987 NBA Finals between the Lakers and Celtics. Pat Riley called out "C" as the Lakers jogged up court. 3 (Magic Johnson) came off a baseline rub that turned into a staggered pick & roll. See More

Late game play ran by Seattle in the 2000 playoffs vs. the Jazz. Gary Payton inbouded the ball and posted up. If you have a good post up guard this is a simple way to get the ball in the post for an iso, or you can change your personnel and post up any player directly from a side out situation. See More

This ball handling and finishing drill is great at teaching your players how to move in straight lines and avoid rounding off your cuts, even with the ball. See More
