In this diagram and embedded video we look at a drill to get your team warmed up and ingrain the cuts and spacing of your press breaker. I liked this early in the season while our players were still learning the press breaker. In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of the Circle Motion Offense. This set play comes from Central Arkansas, and has a post up option. The set stays true the circle motion action, except looks for a post up when the offensive player would normally be filling out to the corner. The ball stays on the same side while the Circle action is taking place instead of being reversed. In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of the Circle Motion Offense. This set play comes from Central Arkansas, and has post up option. I like how the set disguises the action by running through the normal Circle Motion action, then breaks the pattern to provide a duck in. In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of the Circle Motion Offense. This set play comes from Central Arkansas, and has a misdirection backdoor option. I like this action sprinkled in here and there to catch the defense off guard. The more often you try to run this set, the less often it will work successfully. In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of the Circle Motion Offense. This set play comes from Central Arkansas, and has a spread ball screen evolvong directly out of the circle motion action. The ball screener really has to get on their horse to get to the ball screen for solid timing on this action. In this diagram and video clip we see a set play to create a driving lane, but there are plenty of options before the driving lane. You can score on the back screen, the stagger screen, or even the second stagger screen. Many options, but if none of those hit, you have the clear out to explore. In this diagram and video clip we see a set play to try to score a cheap layup. Timing is critical in this action, as the elbow passer needs to be able to throw the pass if the hard curl is open. This is a tough action to defend with the defense chasing over the top on the Iverson cut.
