US men's national team ran this in the Paris Olympics to get a shot for Curry. A nice variation to get into horns and have your point guard as the shooter. The 4 has options to cut, screen, or slip after splitting the staggered screens which makes it difficult to guard.
- 1 swings to 2 and takes the nearest elbow position and receives the cross screen out to the wing.
- The 4 splits the staggered screens & can cut or hold to set another screen for the 1 as the shooter.
- The 1 uses the screen(s) to pop or fade for a shot. The 4 cuts to the rim to try and steal a layup.
