In today’s diagram and embedded video we look at a drill to work on getting your players to take longer strides while playing basketball. I believe longer strides allow players to be faster and cover more ground. I think drills like this help unlock a player's athleticism. This drill is a sister drill to Stride Out Lay Ups which adds lateral movement to the striding.

1 dribble and 2 one foot jumps to practice striding and lateral finishes. From the elbow, work front of the rim finishes and opposite finishes which really stress lateral movement
