Zone Lob - "Michigan State" - FastModel Sports

In this diagram and embedded video we look at a zone offense set play for a back side lob. I always wanted to have a set or two like this installed for when teams flipped to zone on us on the fly. I love getting a quick, easy two when we see zone. This play has the added potential of really providing some energy for your team if you have a high flyer that can dunk the ball. Please make sure you have a good passer throwing the lob. Video below.

"Michigan St" vs 2-3 or 3-2 Zone
Wing entry to 2. 2 drives baseline (to draw a head turn from x5 and engage the wing) and 3 flattens to the weak side corner.

2 returns the pass to 1 while 5 screens in the low forward on the weak side. vs a 2-3 zone, 4 should attempt to flash directly in front of 5x (or even bump into him).
