Spurs Horns Stagger - FastModel Sports

The Spurs ran a nice variety of stuff out of the classic Horns set. They also loved to do things with a stagger action. Here they got their 2 the ball off a stagger and immediatly into a dribble handoff. This put the defense in a trailing position, and allowed the 5 to slip right to the rim for a basket against the Miami Heat.

3 enters the ball to 5. 4 sets back screen for 3 moving to opposite side of floor.

3 and 4 set a stagger screen for 2 who gets a dribble handoff from 5.

2 keeps his dribble as 5 dives right to the rim. 3 and 4 criss cross with 3 moving up to the wing, 4 going to the corner. 2 reads the defense.
