  • On opponent's FGM: 4 quickly inbounds, 1 gets to the right outlet box and 2, 5 and 3 SPRINT lanes getting to top speed in FIRST THREE STEPS!

  • 1 receives outlet wide and high with butt to the sideline. Whips around and within 1-2 dribbles looks to PITCH AHEAD to 2.

X2 is denying the pitch ahead

  • RULE: If within 1-2 dribbles 1 cannot pitch ahead they begin to "cross main street" with the dribble.

Their goal then is to pitch ahead (diagonal advance pass) to the backside wing. Lead them to the corner

  • 5 fills taking first post

1 fills to ballside alley and 4 to the backside alley

Team is set to run four out motion from this point

  • At times, both wings are denied and no advance pass is available. 1 is forced to keep ball on the floor longer and wings must bounce off the baseline to the motion line.

  • RULE: If 1 is forced to dribble over the halfcourt line, "mash the gas" right into a DHO with weakside wing (3 as shown).

4 trails into the weakside alley and makes themselves available for reverse or goes right into the diagonal downscreen for 2 (as shown).
