The Utah Utes have been a sensation all year long and as Jakob Poeltl was selected PAC 12 Player of the Year, the interests in March Madness has peaked to optimum level.
The Utes opened the NCAA Tournament against the Fresno State Bulldogs and here is a set run out of Transition designed to get Poeltl a touch in the paint.
Head Coach Larry Krystowiak has really done an outstanding job bringing Poeltl along since his arrival in Utah. Poeltl is being projected as a 1st round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft and all eyes from Austria are squarely on the big man wondering if he will be the first Austrian born player to make it in the NBA.

Utah Transition Game vs M2M
1 Taylor (#11) makes the entry pass to 3 Loveridge (#21) on the wing and receives the UCLA screen from 4 Kuzma (#35)
4 Kuzma (#35) steps out after screening above the 3 pt line

3 Loveridge (#21) reverses the ball to 4 Kuzma (#35)
5 Poeltl (#42) sets an elbow screen for 2 Bonam (#15) as 3 Loveridge (#21) sets a down screen for 1 Taylor (#11)

4 Kuzma (#35) passes to 1 Taylor (#11) coming off the down screen to the wing
3 Loveridge (#21) sets a cross screen for 5 Poeltl (#42) who comes to the ball side block looking for the post entry pass

3 Loveridge (#21) cuts to the TOK as 4 Kuzma (#35) dives to the weak side block

5 Poeltl (#42) attacks the middle of the paint and kicks the ball out to 3 Loveridge (#21) at the TOK
3 Loveridge (#21) passes up the shot and passes to 1 Taylor (#11) on the wing

5 Poeltl (#42) sprints to screen on the wing with 1 Taylor (#11) who comes off the screen and passes to 3 Loveridge (#21) spotting up for the 3 pt shot
