About This Play/Drill

This was a lob set run by the Ohio State Buckeyes in their ACC/BIG 10 game against the Maryland Terrapins

The middle drag screen starts the play off with the weak side guard darting to the post and stepping up to the elbow to set a backscreen on x5

The timing of the backscreen is key to the success of this play

1 (Craft - 4) comes off the drag screen set by 5 (Williams - 23)

-Quick hit Lob play run by Ohio State against Maryland in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge

2 (Scott - 3) steps up at the elbow to set the backscreen for the lob pass to 5 (Williams - 23) and immediately pops out to the wing

If the lob pass is not open:

1 (Craft - 4) passes to 2 (Scott - 3) on the wing who looks to make the wing entry pass into 5 (Williams - 23) posting up on the ball side block
