Here we take a look at the Kansas High Low Offense with a single screen option. This offense is run as a more complex alternative to the traditional motion offense. By moving one post to the top of the key, the alternating post has room to work inside the paint. Guards are constantly moving and cutting. This keeps the defense shuffling and the offense open for shots off the pass or dribble. - http://www.krossover.com/blog/2015/12/basketball-playbook-kansas-high-low-offense/
Set - Begin this offense with the traditional setup for a motion offense.
The 1 passes the ball to either wing and curls down to the basket and out to the opposite corner.
The 5 cuts into the paint and up the lane to receive the ball at the high post or top of the key.
With the 5 at the top of the key, the opposite post flashes to the middle of the paint, cuts to the opposite block and posts up hard. The 5 continues the ball reversal.
With the ball at the wing, the 3 can feed the ball inside, pass to the 2 (who reads the screen for a curl or pop), find the 5 rolling to the basket, or pull the ball up top to reset.
