I like the ball is reversed before half court, creating a good flow to offense. The more help in the post, the more likely the stagger is open, and the more attention paid to the stagger, the more likely the post will be open. The only player that doesn't really move is 3. 2 wants to make a great cut off the stagger, setting it up with a great change of pace and change of direction. I also think it sets up for the misdirection backdoor set on the back side of the play off of a reverse pivot by the ball handler, although we don't see that in this clip below.
