Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers at the end of a quarter. The play was designed to get a J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony ballscreen in space. The play was probably designed for Carmelo to pop off the screen and isolate on the wing; instead Chandler was wide open at the rim and Melo hit him for an alley oop. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith .6 seconds left during game 3 of the NBA Summer League, the Brooklyn Nets ran this sideline out of bounds play to try and win the 4th quarter and secure a point. Considering the lights went out previous to this play, the Nets did a great job executing this play and hit a 3-pointer. Unfortunately, time expired before the shot got off. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's Focus: Baseline Out of Bounds Sets that help with Set Up on the floor, communicating with hand signals the 'Call' itself and being effective at the same time with the design. Simple? Yes...but effective when done correctly. Typically, we will go with a different core of 3-5, similar set up, each season. We have specials too, but these here will be our staples pending the season. These are typical sets we run over the summer too as they are EASY to remember. Frame 1 + 2 = Stack 1, Frame 3 + 4 = Stack 2 and Frame 5 + 6 = Stack 3 Soon... a BOX Series, a Shapes Series and a Letter Series of BLOB plays from me. Any questions, please follow me @CoachEdens and shoot me a message and I'd be glad to help. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Houston Rockets ran this end of quarter play yesterday to get Patrick Beverly a quick shot. This play looks very simple but the execution in which the Rockets executed was phenomenal! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Utah Jazz ran this sideline out of bounds action during the 2013 NBA Orlando Summer League. This play is somewhat similar to the "Triple" I drew up earlier but it actually got into a Floppy action for the ending. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Philadelphia 76ers ran this sideline out of bounds play several times yesterday during the 2013 NBA Summer League in Orlando. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is the set the San Antonio Spurs ran in Game 5 against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Having only 5 seconds to go 3/4 court on the sideline the Spurs went with a small line up. They put #9 Tony Parker at midcourt, and had #14 Gary Neal run off him first, and then #20 Manu Ginobili. With him setting two screens he was able to pop back to the ball and have a full court iso. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an excellent sideline out of bounds misdirection that I put in towards the end of the season last year with my Junior Varsity team. If 2 does a great job selling like he wants to pass to 1, and 4 sets a great screen, there is a good chance 3 will be open for a quick score! See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe WNBA's San Antonio Stars ran this sideline out of bounds play earlier in the week. As you all know, I am a big fan of zipper actions but this play adds a new wrinkle that I have yet to think about. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawSideline out of bounds play ran by the CT Sun. This play is hard to guard with the double flare and staggered flare. The timing is important as 1 has to wait to let 2 finish the cut. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSideline out of bounds play run by the CT Sun to isolate one of the best post players in the league, Tina Charles. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBaseline out of bounds play ran by the CT in their 66-62 loss to the Mystics 6/7/13. The play starts off with a familiar box set action. Often when 4 passes to 1, 4 would screen the screener. The Sun flipped the down screeners, having a big screen a little into the lane. Usually a little will screen a big into the lane. This change allowed 2 to run the baseline coming off of 4 and 5's screens. Having the bigs screen the guard on the baseline should prevent a switch. See More
