Kevin Stallings' Commodores ran this BLOB action during their Super Tuesday match-up with the Florida Gators this week. Vanderbilt's 4-man did and excellent job finding X3 and setting a great screen to free up 3 for an open lay-up. See More

Rick Byrd is a master tactician as evident by the number and variety of sets he runs with the Belmont Bruins. The Bruins are also one of the most sound fundamental teams in America. This Drag Screen out of Transition is run perfectly setting up a Hi / Lo at the end with the Post Man working in a 4 Out 1 In look. The Bruins utitlize the G-G screen as an option to bring Bradshaw into a possible 3 pt shooting position. See More

Here is a set that the sixers run often to get their possesions started with a few good looks at the basket. The key to this play is the 2 settin a sound back screen on the 4 man. This will force his man to help on the cut and enable the 5 to have a good angle to screen 2's man. A great simple option to get the ball to your best player. See More

Here is an out of bounds play we use late in the game, when a team is playing us M-2-M under. It allows us to create mismatches on teams that will swtich the screening action or we will hit the flex cut for a score. See More

Basketball Play - Power Gap

Power Gap

Last night the Florida Gators ran this zone offense play which lead to Freshman Chris Walker’s first points in a Gator uniform. If you watch Florida enough, you know that Billy Donovan frequently runs pick & rolls versus a zone to get two defenders guarding one and put the defense in compromising situations. This overloaded action does just that. What makes this play especially hard to guard is Florida had two point guards on the Florida making them extra dangerous on the dribble. As Kasey Hill came off the pick, not only did he have the options shown below, but he also had a throwback option to their lethal 3-point threat Michael Frazier II.
