Basketball Play - POB DOUBLE DOWN

POB DOUBLE DOWN

Michael Bowden 11/15/2012

Even though sideline out of bounds plays are more frequent at the NBA level compared to the college and high school ranks, I believe you can add this quick hitter set to get you a bucket. The San Antonio Spurs run their sets to perfection and this SLOB POB Double Up is no exception. If you run this and it gets scouted, I have included a screen the screener option to keep the defense honest and get your best shooter a shot. I hope you enjoy. See More

Basketball Play - Maryland Terps SLOB vs M2M

Maryland Terps SLOB vs M2M

Dana Beszczynski 11/14/2012

This BLOB comes from the game between the Maryland Terrapins and Kentucky Wildcats. 5 & 4 move into a stagger screen position for 1. 1 breaks off his cut between 5 & 4 and re-fills to the top as a safety. As 1 is coming between 5 & 4, 2 begins his cut trying to run his defender into the defender from 1 and takes the stagger screens set by 5 & 4 to receive a pass in the corner for the three pointer. Easy to run and effective. See More

Basketball Play - How Houston beat Miami's trap

How Houston beat Miami's trap

Mark Travis 11/14/2012

This set comes from last night's Rockets-Heat game. It is a pick-and-roll set out of a Horns look that takes advantage of Miami's trapping pick-and-roll defense. James Harden was swallowed up by this defensive scheme during the NBA Finals but he is very patient here, keeping his dribble alive at a slow pace to draw both Bosh and Wade for just long enough to open up space on the wing for Carlos Deflino, who is left up by Shane Battier because Battier is forced to help on the roll in Miami's scheme, to get a wide open shot.
