Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was run 4/12/13 by the Lakers in their 118-116 win over the Golden State Warriors. It is a horns set that ends with a backscreen and lob dunk. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTo start off Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs, the Milwaukee Bucks ran this zipper action last night versus the Miami Heat. Head coach Jim Boylan did an excellent job getting the floor spread before the pick & roll took place. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTuesday night versus the Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks ran this elevator play early in the 1st Half to get Raymond Felton an open 3-Pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick hitter where you can iso the 3 man at the elbow and then have your best shooter coming off a stager on the backside. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is another set that was run by Utah State during the 2010 season. This is a great quick hitter to get a quality look at the basket before getting into your motion offense. I would reccomend this set to anyone that is looking for a quick hitter that is hard to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA great set that Albany ran in the conference tournament. This set has a lot of different ways to score as you progress through the set. If you wanted your 1 man to be the man to make the decision on the last pick & roll then you can just have him hit the 3 and then clear out to the weak side corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very simple Post Isolation into Cross Screen/Down Screen set play. A widely used action, but difficult to guard because it includes a pair of ball reversals, a couple of post isolations, and forces difficult decision-making by defenders who get caught up in quick screens. Favorite Send to FastDrawSaturday night during Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs versus the Memphis Grizzlies, LA Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro drew up this play at the end of the first half to try and get Chris Paul good luck before the buzzer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI got this drill from Dr. Hal Wissel, former assistant coach to Hubie Brown with the Memphis Grizzlies. He uses it at his Shoot it Better mini camps. It is very similar to the Navy Shooting drill Bert DeSalvo shared with Fastmodel http://www.fastmodelsports.com/library/basketball/fastdraw/1567/play-Navy-Shooting This drill will show the shooter when their mechanics are perfect. After focusing on a target as small as the point of the backboard, the rim seems much larger. Dr. Wissel believes in doing this 100 times per day. I have my players shoot 10 perfect shots before moving on to the next drill. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs ran this middle pick & roll play Wednesday night versus the LA Lakers in their Game 2 victory of the NBA Playoffs. The Lakers' effort to prevent a lay-up by Parker resulted in a kick out catch & shoot 3-pointer from Matt Bonner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWednesday night Kevin McHale drew up this quick action to get a score before heading into overtime of Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the defense so consumed with Harden possibly coming back off another screen from Smith, they left Delfino wide open for a lay-up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a simple but versatile play that allows you to take advantage of having more than one 3 point shooter. This play (which was run by the Kutztown University Bears during the 2001-2002 season) is equally effective vs. a zone defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA blob that Arizona ran for Nick Johnson to get a 3. Their is a lot of fluff action that gets the ball swung to the other side of the floor for the shuffle action See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHouston ran this play in their 95-99 loss against the Lakers. It is a line set that allows a team to run the flex when the ball is passed in. See More
