About This Play/Drill

Here is a SLOB set from the Portland Trailblazers. This set can get you a lay-up coming off the flex cut, or a lob coming off the back screen.

3 inbounds the ball to 4 on the perimeter. 5 fakes as if he will go to the corner to pindown/down screen for 2, but then cuts back out to receive reversal from 4. 3 cuts off 1's flex screen.

1st Option: 5 passes to 3 for the lay-up, coming off 1's flex screen. If pass is not available, 3 gets outside the lane.
1 then sets a back screen for 4.

2nd Option: 5 makes a lob pass to 4.
