  • Initial Set-up: 3-out 2 in zone offense alignment with both post players on the block and guards on the wing. Play is initiated with a pass away from your best and most athletic guard.

  • The guard quickly passes back to the point guard and cuts behind the zone.

  • The point guard guard quickly reverses to the ball to the other wing to draw out the bottom zone defender.

  • The ball is passed back to the point guard and that begins the baseline screening action.

  • The cutting guard screens the wing defender and the post players cross and screen the middle and opposite wing defender. The point guard takes a misdirection dribble toward the middle to occupy the top two defenders and then throws a lob to the guard behind the zone.
