A read and react quick hitter to get the ball to your best finisher/decision maker in the middle of the lane. Uses a variety of actions and ends with 5 scoring options each time.
Ball starts in the slot - can be initiated with any player. Here. we start with 1 for simplicity.
1 power dribbles from slot to ball-side wing for handoff to 2.
As 1 clears the FT line extended, 5 sprints to set a wing ball screen for 2 coming off the handoff. 5 should head-hunt the on-ball defender, especially if teams are switching the handoff.
2 turns hard off the handoff and ball screen to get into the lane.
When 5 vacates the mid-post, 4 sprints to set a pindown for 3.
3 uses the screen and sprints to slot, 4 locates to the mid-post.
2 has come off the dribble handoff as well as the ball-screen and is attacking the rim.
